In her room, Naomi calls Matteo and compares him to the sea: how can you ask the waves to be anything other than waves? To have known him is enough. His answer is less enthusiastic, and finding herself emptier than she had thought, she heads into a rocky valley to find inner connection: to hear what the rocks, trees, and wind have to say about it all.
